RESEARCH

Dr Barth has conducted research in the following areas:
A study of illness expectations in family systems.
A study of the correlation between the amount of exercise and family illnesses.
A study of homosexuality in the family.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dr. Barth has been in Private Practice in the field of family therapy since 1973. She has also served as Counseling Psychologist to The Curtis Institute in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In addition, she is a co-founder of The Therapists' Center in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Barth has had frequent speaking engagements on topics relating to family therapy and the role of the mind in physical health. She has also hosted a radio interview program on station WBUX in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

PERSONAL

Dr. Barth has two children, and three grandchildren ages 7 to 11. She is also part of a large extended family.
